Beat the Books-Saturday CFB Odds Making

Minnesota -7 @ Syracuse
As an alum this is a very tough pick to make but one that has to be made.  The Cuse are relying on a PG to play QB and have no answer for the connection of Weber to Decker.  Minnesota 35-17.

Western Michigan +13 @ Michigan
Western Michigan has the better QB in Tim Hiller and with all of the distractions in Ann Arbor, WMU may play this close till the 4th quarter before the Wolverines put the nail in the coffin. Michigan 24 WMU 18

Oklahoma State -5.5 vs. Georgia
Georgia QB Joe Cox may not play in the opener with the flu and with an inexperienced offense, going on the road to face a high octane offense, the Cowboys are a 10 points winner.  OSU 30-GA 20

Alabama -6.5 vs. Va Tech
Va Tech has announced Ryan Williams will start at tailback, however as we have seen over and over, a top SEC team is better then a top ACC team.  Just take last year, when Clemson was the hot team, yet Alabama smoked them en route to their huge season.  Bama 24 Va Tech 13

Other Leanings:
Nevada +14.5 @ Notre Dame
Baylor +2.5 @ Wake Forest
UTEP -9.5 vs. Buffalo
Central Michigan +13.5 @ Arizona
