Going Deep-NFL News Wednesday


-Cotchery returns to practice for the Jets
-Matt Hasselbeck (ribs) was held out of Seahawks practice Wednesday as a precaution, and is expected to play in Week 8.
-Andre Johnson misses practice but Texans are still optimistic he can play this week
-Many experts still believe LJ will be cut before the Chiefs play their next game
-Josh Freeman named starting QB for the Bucs
-Jake Delhomme to remain Panthers starting QB
-Ahman Green formally moved to Packers #2 RB
-Brian Westbrook (concussion) missed Eagles practice on Wednesday.
-Calvin Johnson (knee) sat out Lions practice once again Wednesday.
