Opening Tip-Thursday Morning NBA Top Performers

The stars were out on Wednesday Night as the superstars played like superstars.  LeBron notched his triple double of the season, while Melo scored 30, and Dwight Howard had 21 and 15.  But here are the highs and lows from the night around the Association.

Line of the Night-Tie
Al Horford-24 pts, 16 rebs, 4 assts, 2 blocks in the Hawks win over the Pacers
Jeff Green-24 pts, 8 rebs, 4 threes, 3 steals in the Thunder in over the Kings
Brook Lopez-27 pts, 15 rebs, 5 blocks, 4 assists in the Nets loss to the Wolves

Dud of the Night-Tie
Mike Conley-3 pts, 3 assts, 1 of 4 shooting, 2 TO
T.J. Ford-3 pts, 3 assists, 1 of 9 shooting

Rookie of the Night
Jonny Flynn-18 pts, 4 rebs, 2 steals.  More importantly, Flynn led the Wolves huge comeback over the Nets

Pickup of the Night
Marreese Speights-26 pts, 5 rebs, 10 of 11 shooting.  Considering Dalembert and Brand were man handled and combined for only 17 pts and 8 rebs, Speights should continue to get plenty of run.

Drop of the Night
Brandon Bass-The popular late round draft pick was supposed to pick up some extra minutes with Rashard Lewis out suspended.  He only played 23 minutes in the blowout win, thus likely to not make a huge impact when Lewis returns.
