-Anquan Boldin to be game time decision for the Cardinals
-Pierre Thomas not on Saints injury report
-Gore returns to full practice for the 49ers after their bye
-Browns RB Jerome Harrison, TE Robert Royal, WR Chansi Stuckey, and NT Shaun Rogers were among 12 Cleveland players missing from Wednesday's practice because of the flu.
-Michael Turner limited in practice with a chest injury
-Crayton angry he heard of demotion through the press
-Gonzalez misses Colts practice and status uncertain for Sunday
-Cotchery participates in individual drills for Jets
-Harvin limited in Vikes practice and is questionable for Sunday
-Ryan Fitzpatrick looks likely to start for Bills
-Portis and Avery miss practice.  Portis likely to play, while Avery is doubtful

NBA


-Aldridge and Blazers agree to contract extension
-St Mary's guard Patty Mills has made the Trailblazers
-Andrew Bynum reportedly suffered a strained rotator cuff during Tuesday's game and missed Wednesday's practice, but is not expected to miss any game action
- Coach Byron Scott said on Wednesday that Emeka Okafor (toe) will not play in the team's two remaining preseason games on Thursday or Friday

-Steve Nash indicated after Wednesday's game that he doesn't believe his sprained ankle will be a problem
-Allen Iverson will come off the bench to start the season, according to Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins
