The Day After-Tuesday NFL News & Notes

-ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed that Tony Romo (ankle) will practice Wednesday and start against the Giants on Sunday night.

-Browns used rotation at #2 WR position in week 1.  Outside of Braylon Edwards, no Cleveland WR should be owned.

-Eagles place Shawn Andrews on IR.  Huge blow for the Eagles running attack and with Donovan McNabb possibly out, teams can stack the box and shut down the run and force the QB to make plays.

-Brandon Pettigrew, TE, Lions received no looks during his first NFL game as the Lions attempted to come back after be doing early against the Saints.

-With the injury to Anthony Gonzalez, expect Dallas Clark to become even more involved in the Colts passing game.

-Saints HC Sean Payton hints at running back by commitee when Pierre Thomas is ready to go as he was impressed with the ability of Mike Bell who ran for well over 100 yards in the opener.

-Chris Chambers caught 0 balls Monday Night.  Is he done?  Malcolm Floyd may be starting very shortly.

-Kevin Faulk led all Patriots running backs in plays on the field Monday with 42.  PPR players should be placing a waiver claim for the Pats all-everything back.
